Spyderco Small Utility Knife, model # K05SBK. The spear-point flat-ground blade of Spyderco’s “steak knife” is made of MBS-26 grade stainless steel, which offers edge retention, sharpness and cutting performance even through frozen foods. It features a Spyderedge pattern all the way down, with a two-step serration pattern which wears less over time. The teeth’s sharpened tips initiate the penetration of the cut and keen inside curves follow through. The handle is made of black Sermollan, a rubberized plastic that offers a secure grip and resistance to bacteria. The handle features both horizontal and vertical channels for a firm grasp even when hands are wet or oily. Spyderco recommends handwashing, but thanks to the Sermollan handle it won’t be the end of the world if you accidentally put it in the dishwasher. The Small Utility knife is also at home in the garden or the garage as well. Blade length is 4 ½”, overall length is 8 7/8”. This knife is brand new and comes in the original packaging. Spyderco’s line of kitchen knives were discontinued back in 2005, and they are becoming a very rare find today. Anyone that has owned one of these knives knows how great they are. It would make a fantastic addition to any kitchen! MSRP on the Small Utility was $26.95. Don’t miss out on this no-reserve auction!
