1940 "A" German 5 Pfennig Zinc Reichskreditkassen Coin

 

This is an extremely rare German coin that was circulated by the Nazis in occupied territories during WWII.  It was minted in Berlin (A) over 70 years ago.

 

On the reverse side is a large Nazi Swastika that covers most of the face of the coin and the center is the characteristic hole of this famous "Lochmünzen" coin.  On the front is a large eagle (Adler) head flanked by Oak leaves and acorns.  Under the head is the denomination and the Reichspfennig symbol.  This coin is a little smaller than a nickel.

 

 The photos are of the actual coin you are bidding on and I have zoomed in as much as possible to give you a better idea of the condition of the coin.   It is hard to get a really good picture of a zinc coin in natural sunlight so that is why there are so many angles.  Use your judgement as to the grading.
