Spyderco Utility Knife, model # K04SBK. Designed for cutting boards, the blade of Spyderco’s Utility Knife is thin and semi-flexible, allowing it to pass easily through soft and fibrous foods. The spear-point flat-ground blade is of made of MBS-26 grade stainless steel, and features Spyderedge serrations all the way down to make most cutting tasks a breeze. The handle is made of black Sermollan, a rubberized plastic that offers a secure grip and resistance to bacteria. The handle is checkered with graduating levels of steps running horizontally along the top, and vertically on the underside for grip. This knife carries the highest customer satisfaction rating with exceptional cutting performance and edge retention. Spyderco recommends handwashing, but thanks to the Sermollan handle it won’t be the end of the world if you decide to put it in the dishwasher. The Utility knife is also at home in the garden or the garage as well. Blade length is 6 ½”, overall length is 10 7/8”. This knife is brand new and comes in the original packaging. Spyderco’s line of kitchen knives were discontinued back in 2005, and they are becoming a very rare find today. Anyone that has owned one of these knives knows how great they are.
