KRELL
KSA-5 Stereo Headphone Amplifier
Description
In 1994 Krell released the KSA-5
stereo headphone amplifier, which is essentially a stereo 5 Watt Class
A amplifier. It is based on a Krell line stage preamplifier. Krell
founder Dan D'Agostino designed the KSA-5 to drive the then new Grado
RS-1 headphones. D'Agostino uses headphones extensively in the design
and voicing of Krell amplifers to hear way down at the micro-dynamics
level. Now you can too.
Production began in 1994. Retail $1500.

Please
Note: This unit is for 115V.
To the best of my knowledge, the
unit is multi-voltage. The voltage
change is handled by Krell and/or the Krell distributor in your area.
There are 2 red switches in the
power supply. I believe these are used for voltage change, though the
settings are not marked.
