Hi, I am selling this very together Vincent Rapide for a family member. It has non matching numbers, but appears to have done so for at least 20 years. It was completely rebuilt from stripped down racing trim a couple of years ago by a long standing owners club member. Have copy of interesting article from the 1980s that shows this machine in its prior existence, the tank does have a cut out to accommodate the big bore carb or injector. It was completely up and together and running sweetly having covered over a thousand miles since restoration (it all newly enameled/painted with new loom, cables and stainless fixings throughout) and is in excellent condition, APART from a recent problem with a dropped valve guide which has not been rectified so unfortunately it is a non runner at the moment, thankfully the piston is not holed and seems in good order, this would be a straight forward project for someone with the know-how.
