UNUSUAL 1921 MARTIN LUTHER ONE MARK NOTGELD PIECE

For your consideration is this unusual 1921 German one Mark notgeld piece issued to commemorate Martin Luther’s stay at Wartburg Castle in Eisenach where he translated the New Testament. This high relief red clay piece looks to be in Uncirculated condition. There is a little rub at 3 o’clock near the “M” and a light spot on the right pedal. Item will be protected in plastic snap-lock case. Other particulars are: plain edge; approximately 31mm in diameter; approximately 4mm thick.
